Can't flash my ECU...
 

For some reason, I can't flash my ECU with my Tactrix cable anymore. I can log just fine, but I cant flash or pull a flash. I tried a friend's cable and it worked fine. Tried my cable on his car and could only log. Any way to fix it other than having to get a new one?

I've seen that quite a few times with other customers...seems some cables go bad. i would contact tactrix and see if they will exchange it for you.

BTW, we got at least five right now. I'll get in touch with Brad and let him know so we can start looking at some dates.

im having the same problem right now actually....starting to think its my cable

Would anyone happen to know what this means? I try to read my rom and it gives me this message:

Just got mine today. Waiting for hallman mbc, swoosh boost gauge and aem wb O2 before i'll start logging.{thumbup}

i think it's the version you're using. I heard some version of the ECUFlash is corrupted.

ya ive just downloaded the most recent 1.34 and i have tried to uninstall/reinstall several times

it has nothing to do with the version, it's obvious, you use your friend's cable and you can flash/read, but your cable can't. so it's tactrix cable problem, if you own it for less than a yr, call them up! mine had the same problem and i call and got new one.
also, don't leave the cable plugged if not using it!
