Can't log data with EvoScan on IX MR
 

Anybody care to help out a newbie to datalogging with EvoScan? I've been reading through all the posts regarding EvoScan problems and I haven't come across a solution to the problem I'm having which seems pretty basic. I can connect to my ECU just fine but EvoScan doesn't get any actual data. This is a typical event log. And I've attached a small data log file, basically all "0" data except for a few temperature and timing entries that don't change.

Info: Initialization Complete...

Info: ECU ID: 0000

I have a 2006 IX MR with ECU version 88590015. Everything's stock and I'm able to read the ECU with ECUFlash without any problems. I get the same results with EvoScan version 2.2 and 2.4 I'm running an HP laptop with 64bit Vista, 4GB ram, Athlon Turion64 x2 processor.

Any help would be appreciated. The thing that sticks out to me is the ECU ID: 0000 entry, is that normal? ECUFlash doesn't read anything for the ECU ID and CASE ID entries either.

thats the second 64bit vista that returns zeros ... alright I'll try and find out whats going on today.
