Tactrix cable doesn't work
 

Okay i got a werid problem bought evo scan throw limitless and also ordered my tactrix cable throw them too. The cable only works with ecu flash 1.34 but i am using 1.35 . Supposedly the cable needs a patch loaded into it or something to make it work with ecu flash 1.35. Limitless as been giving me the run around for about a week now. So does anyone know what to do or have the open port patch so i can use my tactrix cable with ecu flash 1.35. thanks.

Why not just use 1.34?

ECUFlash is designed only to work with Tactrix cables. It is unlikely to work with any cables sold by Limitless.

Well supposedly these are tactrix cables. atleast copies of them. It works fine with 1.34 , evo scan and romraider. but doesn't work with 1.35. Limitless dude say he as to send me a patch for the cable to allow it to work with 1.35. He is giving me the run around so just going to use it with 1.34 and deal with it till open port 2.0 comes out.

They are only Tactrix cables if bought from Tactrix. Tactrix has a serial number built into each of their cables. The cables are where Tactrix makes most its money to stay in business.

well i need a real tactrix cable then.

there got to be something different. I have a tactrix cable that I bought from Tactrix when it was just released and it's working fine with all EcuFlash versions. Two f my friends purchased the cables not from Tactrix and they're universal version which suppose to work with some other cars as well and they did not work with some EcuFlash versions including 1.35. Maybe someone can explain this.

Mine is the same as your friend's cable. Trying to work this out with Colby at Tactrix.

all i need is the stupid patch install for the cable to make it work with ecu flash 1.35 , but limitless dude is jerking me around big time on sending it to me and just want a refund or a working cable.
