What's the most stable version of ECUFlash to use?

I am still on 1.30 but I would like to start trying Tephra's ROMS for 1.31 and up so I need to upgrade. 1.30 works flawlessly for me so I am reluctant to upgrade and end up having problems.

Thanks.

There is no difference in the Tephra roms between versions of the Ecuflash software. Just other functionality and vehicle support in Ecuflash.

you should upgrade to all new versions of ecuflash as soon as they come out if you are going to keep up with tephras development.

The problem with upgrading is that some of the times newer versions have more bugs than the older ones and you can't use the software till its figured out. Case in point, when I went from 1.29 to 1.35 I couldn't flash my car. So I went back to 1.29. Then 1.38 came out, I spent a bunch of time converting BACK over and again, couldn't flash my car. Somebody had to figure out the cable hack until I could flash my car etc....

Right now 1.38 seems stable for my friend, me, as well as others. You just may have to do the cable hack mod so that the program doesn't lock up when flashing the car.

1.30 imo.

I use 1.34. All I've ever had to do with it, is install it and away i go. I have no interest in upgrading to a newer version since this one works flawlessly.

The ROMS and XMLs I have seen always say 1.31 and newer, so I thought there was some difference. I would expect that the version of the program shouldn't have anything to do with the ECU code, but I don't know for sure.
