question about ROM id's and patches
 

Ok this is probably a super simple question but here goes.
When looking for a patch do I go by the rom id or by the inherits to find the correct one to use?

I've only been playing around with ECU flash for about a week and half, installed V7 with rom id 88590715 but noticed it list an inherits of 88590015.
Was looking to install a patch to simulate of trick rear heater o2.
