can we disable knock sensing EVO8 94170008-0015?

Hello,

I would like to know if we can disable the knock sensor on the 941700xx ECU using the Peripheries? I guess if we know what we are doing, if we have EGT, Wideband, and a knock detection tool (knockbox is what I am buying) we can tune the car for optimum performance without the intervention of the knock sensor, we are working on a racing car using racing fuel.
I was tuning a car lately and it was giving me such a hard timing detecting knocks even when I set the Value in the timing table to 2 it went to -1 in datalogs, the car had forged pistons. rods, cams, springs etc... and boost was 25psi using 98ron fuel, we went under the car and found that the downpipe was so close to the transfer case and was hitting on it every time we shift and the knock sensor detected that as knocks and retarded timing all the way, the car power was like crap, so to avoid that with the drag racing car we are building and with out having to go into AEM or Haltech we would like to disable the knock sensor.

Yes it is possible, Periphery 0 bit 7
Original:
0x56DA = 0101011011011010

Modified without KnockSensor support it would be
0x565A = 0101011001011010
