Can't read the EcuTek tune evo 8
 

Is it normal for the ecuflash not to read the EcuTek tuned evo8? Long story short, one of the EcuTek tuned car came to me for retuning and when I tried reading the ecu the first tree signal that the ecuflash sent never got the response from the ecu. That's it, I get a failed message after that. It wouldn't read the whole data in the ecu. But when I logged it from evoscan I can log it with mo problem. Is there a way to read this EcuTek tune or the company that tuned it has to default the ecu? I'm using the 2.0 openport cable and the latest ver of ecuflash. Thanks in advance

I believe you can if after its been unlocked. Search this forum for ECUTek and it should come up.
