where is the idle afr value?
i.e in my idle range cells i have a figure. 14.5 for example. when i start the car this value or whatever value i have set matches what afrmap is reporting. but for only a very short time 30 secs ish. the afrmap value then changes to 14.7 !
this presumably is after a set time to allow engine to settle and the lambda to have warmed in readyness to go closed loop. which is fine. but where does the 14.7 closed loop value come from?

injector scaling if i have stock injectors but scaling is up in the 600's does this indicate a fuel rail pressure other than stock? assuming no other issues like bad fuel supply

p0325 knock sensor cel . is that open circuit,closed circuit,excessive knock ? i get this cel if i go over 3k rpm

The answer to the first question you have is that you are in closed loop so no matter what value you put in there, the ecu will always try to hit the 14.7 mark.

To answer your first question: the "idle afr value", which is actually more like the narrowband switching point, isn't a value you can change unless you have a wideband that can simulate a narrowband output and has a feature to change it, or you get your car to idle in open loop, where you can just adjust the fuel map in the idle rpm/load to get the AFR you want.

That thread above has some good info on trouble shootings. I would definitely check the wiring out. I will look in my service manuals when I get home tomorrow to see if theres any sort of ohms test that can be performed to see if the sensor is good.

bizarrely this was the case. no sensor fitted at all.
what threw me was we were getting knock sums! so i did not look to see if it was there as at first glance i would not question wether it was fitted or not when getting knock sums!

I know if you look up the knock sensor error code there will be a thread that talks about how to disable the knock sensor code through the periphery bit.
