please look @ these maps
recently took my car to a "tuner" switched over to e85. car runs like ass after i got it back look @ these maps tell me what u think. gettin loads of knock. car rich as $hit. here are the mods
s2 cams, built 2.1L 9:1 compression. evo 9 turbo, 1200cc pte injectors. have a maf translator with gm 3 inch maf. 4.5 inch intercooler. stock turbo due to breaking engine in http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/p...n83/e85map.png http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/p...5timingmap.png UPDATES JUST FLASHED IN MY BASE MAP FROM(tscompusa) HOLY $HIT! you a/f ratios look okay but timing is not very aggressive, did he tune for boost only? how much boost are u running?

tuned for drivability. hardly. barely idles.running off wastegate @ the moment. no boost controller connected

check for boost leaks, sounds like a big boost leak if the car doesn't even idle. did the tuner do a boost leak test before tuning?

didnt have this problem on pump gas. only when i switched to e85. i did a boost leak check and didnt have any. that would make it lean wouldnt it? its stayin rich. wont come out of 10s on wideband

not good looking maps.. needs way more smoothing.. the maps aren't your problem tho.

Fuel map is horrible.
Both maps need to be rescaled for load. Looks like he may have not rescaled the injectors properly. Etc. |
LOL he leaned out the closed loop area. :lol: (assuming he didn't fully disable closed loop)

I hope you didn't pay him much for that tune; that looks like a hack attempt at best. Any reason why you're running a MAF translator? Your best bet would be to either go back to the stock MAF or go SD on stock ECU. Definitely try to find someone who knows what they are doing.

yeah i did pay him for his services.he suggested the maf translator. i had one a while backn my eclipse had no issues. i dont think thats the issue.

scaled injectors down. i think maf translator is bad. i can unplug it with car running and still stays running. tried to go drive it wouldnt come out of 10s on wideband. was bucking and all kinds of stuff. cant even drive it now. idk crap:crap:

no my friend has his maf though. gonna try that sat. i just dont get why it runs like sh*t just by switching to e85, acts like its running on 3 cylinders. changed plugs. old ones were terrible. so fustrated. really wanna put it back on pump gas and sale it. im so pissed

Dont give up.Do you have a 4 bar map sensor or stock?

You should have had him put a map sensor in while you were on pump and then switch over to e85 while running speed density using the existing fuel temp to control air flow.Only if you have the tephra mod though.

i did the tephra mod myself. he told me the tephra stuff was "stupid" and "a waste of time" when he was done " tuning my car"

if you have a programmer & laptop & loggable wideband it can all be done remotely. send me your rom off the car if you're able to at tscompusa@gmail.com and i will take a look at it and tell you what i find in it. based on the fuel map he has its running open loop in cruise area (load & rpm based only).. but the guy also clearly doesn't care about smoothness when it comes to the mapping which is a bad sign IMO for a tuner. tephra mod is definitely not a waste of time its actually awesome. i only ever did 1 evo on the maf translator a built 2.4 with a crapload of mods.. theres multiple ways to program the translator.. have you researched how to use it? if you send me an email put this in the subject "STINKBOMB CHECK MAP EVOM" so i dont overlook it. i pulled up pdf file on translator. i have it set up according to instructions. 3 inch gm maf. 53% for injectors. only prob. with going back to stock maf is i have a tial bov. but if it idles good then i know translator or maf is problem. thank god i broke new motor in on pump gas. as this problem would have def. washed the cylinders down.
