Can't pull rom

Hey guys, first off I searched and couldn't find my particular problem, so I want tO pull the rom from my car so I can read it, plugged in the open port, plugged in the mistu adapter, etc. the open port is recognized by the laptop and the read ecu option is lit up, but when I click on it the window after is blank showing no ecu is able to be read. Help?

Also to add the open port is cycling through all the led colors constantly while it's plugged in.

I guess you are using a Tactrix 2 cable, please be sure it is fully recognized.
1- If you can push the "read ECU" button, you should get a specific message error, please sharing it in order to help diagnose.
2- May be your ROM is locked, in this case you will have to use "ECU unlocker" on the background of your Ecuflash session.
Cheers.

Thank you for the help, no error message displays when I click read from ecu, yes it is an oPenport 2.0, I had a local evo shop pull the rom a moth ago and check it out, so I don't think it's locked unless the owner of the shop did it, which I don't think he would since I know him on a personal basis

I have just contacted the shop owner and he assured me the ecu is not looked, all I want to do is read the Tom and compare it to the tune I have, since the previous owner of this car wasn't exactly a professional tuner...

Now he says he can't remember if he unlocked it or not, but once it's unlocked it stays that way correct?

Figured it out :) I narrowed it down to the XML files and the read templates, I moved them tO the evo rom metadata folder and I successfully pulled the rom off
