Tephra V7 and Omni MAP Scaling

Hello,

I'm in the process of tuning my Evo IX because my car doesn't run well after I paid to have it professionally tuned. I've done a lot of reading and I'm starting to go through my ROM and take a look at some of the settings. One I am currently looking at is the MAP scaling table. I know that the Tephra v7 maps came setup for the JDM map but I am definitely running the Omni 4 bar.

Here are my MAP scaling table numbers:

0.51 / 25
0.90 / 49
1.29 / 70
1.69 / 96
2.08 / 120
2.45 / 144
2.84 / 170
3.24 / 195
3.63 / 255

These appear to be the JDM map figures. I read this thread and it seems the Omni 4 bar requires a different set of values to read properly: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...-settings.html. How would this affect my tune? I am setup for ECU controlled boost. And I just setup EvoScan to datalog the Omni map sensor. It was setup to read the GM 3 bar prior to today. I would really appreciate some feedback.

Thank you EvoM in advance! :mitsu:

Yes the values in your MAP sensor scaling vary from sensor to sensor. Just make sure you have the right values for the Omni 4 bar MAP sensor and you should be good to go.

So, the values in my ROM, which I listed above, are incorrect as I thought?

Nevermind, I found Tephra's thread on the Omni 4 bar map sensor settings and it appears my ROM has the correct values. My ECUFlash was not setup correctly which was why I could not read boost levels but I have that setup now.
