ECU can't read rom

So I installed the latest version of ecuflash and have the 13 usdm ralliart definition which is what I'm supposed to be running but I still can't read the ecu. The only thing I can save is a srf file which I can't read even manually forcing it to read in the Dev option.

Im not sure if I'm missing a step or the program just doesn't like Win 8? I also tried to run the program in admin mode with no luck.

Does anyone have an idea why I'm having trouble?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: forgot to mention I have a 14 ralliart

want to attach the srf file? I bet you have the incorrect definition. What is the ROM ID of the SRF file?

I will upload it as soon as I'm off work, but it is 59570004

Your rom id is 5957005.

Download 59570004 from Golden's website and this 59570005, which inherits 59570004 definitions:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-f...ew?usp=sharing

SRF file format offsets things when compared to hex or bin formats. In SRF file, your rom id is located in 50141 address.

I have both of those xml definitions and I tried using them with no luck? :(
