After Tephra Map car don't start
I have the Evo 8 with the OEM Map 96530006. Now i install Tephra V7. When i Flash this to the car, the car don't start. When i go back to the OEM Map it start again. I thought its someting with the Immobilizer. But there didn't foud a solution.
Is there somebody how can take e look. im my two files and give me some inputs. Would be great. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...9402162959.jpg OEM MAP 96530006 https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...41b7947e6b.jpg TEHPRA V7 MAP 96530706 |
turn the immobilizer off... then you will know if thats the problem or not.
|
I try it to disable the immobilizer. I set it to 0 and flash it again to the car. But i can still not start the car with the TEPHRA MAP. :(

You transferred your tune right? Specifically the startup and injector related stuff?

im 100% sure that i transferred the file correctly from 96530006 OEM to 96530706 Tephra
It looks like its something with the immobilizer. But there i can't see something wrong. Because with the OEM Map the car start, with the Tephra Map the engine turn, but he don't start. In the Attachments i put the 96530706 Tephra Map how don't start. Maybe somebody can find the mistake. |

Here is a thread about the tables related to startup that need to be moved over: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...cv-tables.html |
I checked now the whole OEM MAP (how can start the engine) and compare it with the TEPHRA MAP (how doesn't start the engine). With the ECUFlash function (compare ECU)
There are some difference between the two maps. But where i can find the difference marked here in red color. Maybe there will be the problem:confused: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...9602b064d5.png |
The hashes don't really tell you anything. They would be different just from the edits that tephra makes to the oem code. You will need to spot check tables.
|
So i checked every single folder of the two Maps.
I found only one difference. The Global Fuel Settings IPW was set to 0x0009. With OEM Injector it has to be 0x4908. What do you think, it can be the Reason that the car don't start? https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...4f5f12588b.jpg |
What about the tables from the thread I linked? They may not be part of your XML and need to be added.
|
I checked all your tables you showed me in the thread linked. Everything good. I compare the MAP how don't start the car even with e old one i had from 2013. Even there the only difference was this here.
Now i changed the tables back from 0009 to 4908 & 4900. I will try it today to flash it to the car and look if it start. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...7d56874d51.jpg |

I flashed the TEPHRA MAP with Stock IPW Value. But the car still don't start.
Now i downloaded a new Tephra File (96530703) . I will refill the tables again. Maybe it was someting wrong with the tephra-file. |
Its possibile that the car just crank and don't start with this difference in the immobilizer?
