Is your current stock of cables available for purchase over the counter?

The OpenPort is available by prescription only. Ask your doctor if the OpenPort might be right for you. Side effects include drowsiness, and a general lack of sleep due to endless oogling and adjusting of maps...
But seriously, both Mynes and Tactrix stock the cables. If you live near Mynes, you should definitely get the cable from Mynes. Jason knows a lot about tuning Mitsubishis. If your near Seattle, feel free to stop by and pick up a cable from me too.

I'm curious about the tuning aspects of the setup.
Will ECUflash be realtime with floating highlighted cells, etc or is that the job of the datalogger/tuning program in the works? Also, as far as datalogging, it would be awesome if the cells the ecu is interpolating at that particular instance were highlighted as well (this is a'la ECU+, a very nifty little feature).
Also, for the fuel tables. Are the values target AFR's and if so, how does the ECU determine this without an onboard WB? I guess I'm just used to arbitrary values (usu VE) that are scaled up/down for the desired effect
I'm obviously excited to have the ability to read/write and change the maps, but I would like to understand this tool's nuances better before I go digging about.

There is no realtime component yet, or even logging features, but that is all being planned. Jason knows the Mitsubishis better than I, but in general with a NBO2 system, the AFRs you see in the tables are just open-loop targets where the appropriate fueling to achieve the desired AFR is estimated based on the current MAF reading and the learned fuel trims while in closed loop (~14.7 AFR, where the NBO2 sensor is quite accurate).

I'm also curious about the timing tables. Are these accurate degrees of timing? I'm looking at the stock maps that are up in the forums. I have not recieve my cable yet (Damn It!). So I have not looked at the differences between this and my flash. Let's see what kind of magic WORKS does.

Kudos for a really great piece of softwear and a hasel free instalation and use. Colby is a very talened guy and the users of this device should appreciate that he did not bend everyone over on the price like the other reflash development companies. Again, great job on your programing.

Be careful and take your time, igniton timing is one of the easiest ways to damage a motor, next to a lean condition. Do not attempt to tune your car without a quality wideband with logging capabilities such as the zeitronix unit we sell. If anyone needs the best wideband in the market, send me a PM as the new VERSION 9 has just been released yesterday with lean AFR and high EGT warning LED and audible alarm. Its an easy way to be safe and sound while tuning.
