THere is only one ECU image for 05.. There were at least 5 for the 03/04 ECU's.. Only the P0300 fix ECU appears to have major differences in Map locations than other 03/04 ecu's..
The Immobilizer location appears to be the same in all of the 03/04 ECU's..
And although the ECU model number might have changed, the CPU and Memory model did not, so its entirely possible someone could accidentally flash an ECU with a different Rom.. Not sure how successfully it would run though... Their all basically a 256k rom, with more or less the same functional components with the same basic hardware and calls, the rom code only tells it what to do.. The exception is the Evo9 rom which I think I was told is 512k and its a new ECU in design anyway which has very little in common with the 05 and earlier.
[edit:] I had to edit my original reply since I haven't seen enough different variations in roms to know how different all the map locations are.. The half dozen I saw, only two had maps located at different addresses.

One thing I've notice when doing MAF delete's on AEM is that the 05 map sensor looks noticably different than the 04' not sure if there are any electrical or functional differences... There are reports of 05 cars being less sensitive to VTA bov's...

Once modified, if you wanted to go to the dealer for warranty work, can you flash it back to the stock settings w/o the dealership knowing it has been flashed before?

The quantity of reflashes is a number put on it by the manufacturer of the ram in the ECU, and is only guaranteed to flash 100 times without error.. It could probably be modified hundreds of times before having any sort of problem.
