EcuTek'ed... what are my options?

I do think it somehow alters the init sequence.. But we'll wait for someone who knows to answer this one.. and no, after the ECU is put into bootstrap mode, it uses its own bootstrap code to extract the Rom.. Therefore any ECU could be recovered from a bad flash.. which is why I find the ECUTek thing odd.. I dont have an issue with it not being editable, but at the least the owner should be able to back it up..

I just tried to read the EcuTek flash again, just to make sure I didn't do something wrong. Same thing as before.
Portion of the log:
Sending init sequence 1 (0001)
Sending init sequence 2 (FFFF)
No responce from any know code

Well there is only about 4294836225 different combinations of init sequences...
