wondering who is running what?
im going to tinker with the 2.3/gt35R with the ecuflash and utec... (i ran our project car with the 35R at up to 32psi before on the utec with few problems)....
curious who is running what.
cheers

We have bene running large turbos on the stock ecu for over two years now
It can work really well if your intake tube is properly designed
The ecu should work just like stock up to 450 - 480 whp (that is when you reach the end of the load reference)
At that point you can add a larger MAF sensor - however, IMHO the work to proerly scale and adjust it would become a bit of a pain in the rear end
The emanage is good as you can clamp the load at a certain point and use the map sensor for load in real time after that threshold giving you the best of both worlds
My opinion is that AEM is the best option over 450 whp

I think i have fixed that now... and i am going to try to run the utec over a certain load on race fuel, and for alky injection, but I want to run flashed ecu on the pump program...
our car is a daily driven project car, and good for the road course, not a drag.dyno queen etc....
also, PA emissions are supposed to get tighter (i have a nice little waiver on the car now hee he).... so id like to stay up this avenue..
our time attack car will be AEM or motec based.

I'm running RnR 35r kit with stock block as well. See my thread at https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...32#post3206332 . The car is feeling very good, no hesitating, very strong up top.

Malibu,
we will be running the following:
JAM stage 3 850whp block
JAM built head, 1mm over valves
Cometic head gasket
ARPs
264/272 cams
Turboback
880 injectors (for pump) and pump
GT35R .63 hotside (may jump to .82)
etc
should be interesting
im still going to use the utec on top of the flash, but mostly for race fuel, or if i reach a load limit. But, i think the tip-in response will be much improved with the flash handling the injector scaling.
