2-step function
Hey, i was just wondering how much boost people are seeing off the line using the 2-step function of ecuflash. I set mine to 5750rpm and off the line im seeing 7psi.... i thought i would be able to see a little more boost off the line. I will be moving up to a much bigger turbo very soon and would like to see atleast 15psi off the line. Just wondering what everyone else was seeing with the 2step.

oh so its just a stationary rev limit adjustment or "launch control" like they put on 05's? Is it like an actual 2-step where the car builds boost by advancing timing and putting a load on the motor? Or is it more of a controlled free rev?

It is just a stationary rev limit.. What your describing is actually an "Anti-lag" type feature, there are some lean spool tables but their not documented yet (plus there is some hardware missing on the USDM cars) It will build quite a bit of boost though.. I've seen about 10psi or more..

I am getting the same as Warrtalon, although I have found if I start building the boost too soon before the launch, the ECU throws a bit too much fuel in and really makes the car bog down. I have had my best launches using the method I have seen in Warrtalon's videos.
