2-step function

Hey, i was just wondering how much boost people are seeing off the line using the 2-step function of ecuflash. I set mine to 5750rpm and off the line im seeing 7psi.... i thought i would be able to see a little more boost off the line. I will be moving up to a much bigger turbo very soon and would like to see atleast 15psi off the line. Just wondering what everyone else was seeing with the 2step.

How did you set your own 2-step?

I see between .7-.8bar on the stock gauge when I'm on the 2 step.

With ECUflash you can alter the stationary rev limit aka 2-step

I see around 12psi at 6k

oh so its just a stationary rev limit adjustment or "launch control" like they put on 05's? Is it like an actual 2-step where the car builds boost by advancing timing and putting a load on the motor? Or is it more of a controlled free rev?

It is just a stationary rev limit.. What your describing is actually an "Anti-lag" type feature, there are some lean spool tables but their not documented yet (plus there is some hardware missing on the USDM cars) It will build quite a bit of boost though.. I've seen about 10psi or more..

If they were my maps I would, but I have a custom tune from Al.

I see 10-12psi at 6k. 5750 will see less boost, but if you want to see 15psi, then raise the 2-step higher...

I am getting the same as Warrtalon, although I have found if I start building the boost too soon before the launch, the ECU throws a bit too much fuel in and really makes the car bog down. I have had my best launches using the method I have seen in Warrtalon's videos.

I am seeing 12 psi at around 5500-5800 with no 2-step. Only an AMS flash.
