If you have to make drastic reductions to the timing on map 2, I would suggest doing similar things to the other maps for safety. Realistically though, we are almost always ADDing timing not REDucing timing so if anything, the defaults for maps 1 and 3 should be fine.

I've had to retard my maps at 3000,3500,4000,6000,6500 all by 1 degree with 98 RON fuel, AFR 12:1 at 3000-3500, 11.5 or richer thereafter, 26 PSI peak, 24 PSI held midrange, then 22.5 PSI at 6000, 21 PSI at 7000. If I don't retard then if I get lift off det at 3000-4000, and some more in 6th gear at 6000-6500 RPM if the car is very hot. Probably a combination of low octane fuel, JDM map (3 degrees up on USDM approx) and a fair bit of boost?
