scaled to 300 here since day 1.

Not sure why you would even need 300% on a stocker turbo, even with race gas. I just hit load 260% at a 25psi boost spike on my 100 octane tune.

I hit 280 every time I get in the gas at low rpm like doing a 3rd gear pull from 2,000 rpm, and I'm on a 03 stock turbo with minimal mods.

by looking @ logs ,watching peak boost ,compare timing logs and boost versus rpm and compare it to the ignition maps

Running the UTEC will offset the MAF readings, even with it in passthrough it will alter the value slightly.. But generally its considered a piggyback and will alter the MAF readings before it gets to the ECU, so its very possible that your fuel table (adding fuel for some areas) would increase the MAF output from the UTEC and bump you into a higher load column..

I have several different piggybacks and all of them affect the MAF input slightly even with them completely zeroed out.. Not enough to alter it more than a few HZ, but keep that in mind..

You should see what havoc my blowthrough sensor causes when I alter its calibration output.

Very True, the utec does alter fueling by altering the maf signal, but at this point I'm just using my utec setup (utec, map sensor, and Tuna Pro) as a $1500 logger........ I am a little worried that when I remove the utec my flash tune will be off a bit.

Still trying to decide what setup I want to go with for logging, probably ecu+, but then I have to go through all the work to add a mapsensor and wideband If I sell the utec setup.

I was also thinking about the lc-1 with auxbox, but I'm not sure if you can add a map sensor to it...

Overall, I think the ecu+with the addons will provide the most information in a single log file.

Here is a question for you, the xede is said to replicate the maf signal...does it alter the maf readings causing the ecu to bump into a higher load column?

All of them generally "replicate" or regenerate the signal, its the only way to effectively alter the output when you decide to..

All piggybacks have a small amount of error in regenerating the signal, therefore if the settings are zeroed out, it should be real close to stock, but not identical, its just the nature of the beast..

The good news is, GENERALLY the output will be close enough that removing it will not alter your tune, (this was directed at the UTEC post above)

For the UTEC guy with with the Tuner Pro, I calibrated the analog output of the Tuner Pro's wideband to the PLX Voltage (to use a PLXDevices gage, as a result, I used it with the ECU+ to log AFR using the PLX calibration, Additionally, I used the Tuner Pro's MAP sensor input and tapped the signal wire from the sensor, again running it into the ECU+ to log boost and also set its calibration for a GM 3bar sensor) So Its worth it to hold onto the Tuner Pro.. you can even use the EGT input and send that signal to the ECU+ so it can also be logged..

Interesting, my logs show that I do not on 22psi on pump gas. Either I am not or I am exceding the 260% load column but my timing is not being affected like other people are saying happens.

I also do not on 25psi with 100 octane, but I am using ECU+ to lean the fuel out, so I am in a lower HZ range.

You'd be surprised how much an aftermarket intake affects MAF reading.. there are quite a few intake kits that lower the MAF reading quite a bit, as a result it causes the car to run lean if its untuned..
