I'm heading in to the dealer on Wed to get my ACD checked out since all 3 lights came on yesterday. Question is, when they plug in the MUT tool to check, will they need to access the ECU itself or is the ACD seperate from that? If they need to access it, since my ECU is locked, how do I get it back to a stock flash? Will someone elses stock IX GSR flash work or am I SOL? If it can work, anyone got one I can "have"? Thanks for any help.

If you want to flash back to stock you will probably need to use MJ's unlocker tool to grab the immobilizer code off your current ROM, otherwise you won't be able to start the car with your copied stock flash.

The ACD is a seperate ECU located behind and to the right of the glove box.

As long as they don't intend to reflash the ECU it won't be a problem.. the ACD adjustment is done with the MUT tool and it should be able to communicate with the ECU to do that stuff.. The only time you would need to be concerned is if they needed to reflash the ECU for any reason.

Although I haven't seen any way to do it, I'm fairly certain you can test the EBD sensors which are 2 axis G-Force sensors, but I haven't done much research on it.

So it would be a good idea to unlock and go back to stock beforehand. Would I be able to save my Dynoflash map and reload it after they're done?

Alright, DL'd the unlocker tool. When I opened up ECUFlash (I have 1.28) it gave me this message...

Did you plug in the cable BEFORE you tried to run ECUFlash? You have to install the drivers, the error means the driver isn't installed (or you haven't plugged the cable in for the first time)

Alright, I pulled the map from my ECU (and noticed some things were forgotten)... if I modify anything on the map and load it back to the ECU, will it still remain locked?

I'm trying to find the immobilizer code so I can us another stock IX's map, but I don't know where the hell it is. I switched the user level to developer but still don't see it. Where is it?

*EDIT* N/M, found it.

Make sure you are using the newest version of EcuFlash and also you need to restart the app everytime you change the user level.
