Question Evoscan Log Viewer?

Yes I've searched.

I can't seem to find a good log viewer (Free preferably)

I've used up my 30 day DataLogLab viewer trial, it doesn't seem worth $40 to display a graph which I can just view the actual values in Excel...

I've read a few posts about a log viewer by "Second Chance" it seems the links are down for this though. - OpenEcu.org

Anyone have another log viewer they use (thats free )?

Or is there some type of tutorial on how to graph this in excel. I use excel but haven't played with the graphing..

Thanks

Not looking for a new logger, just a log viewer. Evoscan works fine

The DLL is worth its weight in gold. You have no idea how good this program is once you use it repeatedly. Moreover, you pay your $40 and you get to install DLL on ALL your computers and laptops. I currently have mine installed on my laptop, my desktop and my work desktop. It is a great tool.

The dyno graph is by itself worth the $40.

Thankyou MJ for showing us this tool and for creating a conversion tool so we can use the Evoscan logs.

You don't have to use the conversion tool for .97

Just pointing that out ^_^

DLL is definately worth it. I've been using it for a couple years now, across multiple platforms. The time I save by not having to convert logs in excel is worth WAY more than $40.

DLL is worth every penny.. <thanks Ralph>

Considering how inexpensive the Tactrix cable is, and most of the tools are free to do everything you could ever want

Logger - Mitsulogger Free
Reflash - ECUFlash Free
OBD-II Scanner - OBD Scan Tech Free
Tactrix Cable - PRICELESS!

Its certainly worth spending a few dollars on programs like Evoscan and Data Log Lab, even after all is said and done, its still cheaper than any other similar product out there (for just OBD.. Now add Reflashing and you can't touch anything like this stuff)
