You can log with evoscan. I am not 100% about mitsulogger.

I am happy with my lc1 that comes with a serial cable

this is a popular wb supported by ecuflash and mitsulogger. the things related to logging are to make the cable adn then plug it into the computer and work out the software needed.

Made this last night, will be testing it later today to see how well it works. Hope the USB to Serial cable from Rad-Shack works, as the closest Best Buy is over a half-hour away

Some one should take out the picture on page one (post #14) and Mr. Evo IX's write up in post #22 and make it sticky.

actually i bought this cable hoping to get my logging up and running and found
this cable comes with no driver for windows vista. if your running windows 95,98,ME,or XP your good but if you have an up to date OS your screwed.

DON'T BUY THIS CABLE IF YOU HAVE VISTA I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH DYNEX AND THERE IS NO DRIVER!!!

Any one else have any suggestions on a cable to work with this and vista?

Ok can someone help me out here ..

When they say:

"Now this connector has "inserts" and you solder (recommended)
or crimp (not recommended) to the blue wire to pin 2 and attach the ground that your gauge uses to pin 5 - "

which wires are they talking about ? do i need to buy new wires and hook them up to the gauge (meaning out of the same place there will be two wires coming out of the gauge,
one goes to the sensor and one goes to the new cable)? or use the same wires of the gauge?

im simply not getting it and ive read it a hundred times..yep all that's left is someone to spell it out for me lol

There is a blue wire that is coming out of the back of the gauge from what I remember (did this months ago so a bit hazy). That you solder into pin 2 (crimping will work temporarily ask how I know). The ground pin technically doesn't need to be connected for this to work (don't ask how I know that either ).
