sorry about that.. they are not actually random numbers, its just showing in Little Endian format instead of Big Endian format. i.e the 2 bytes are just swapped around.

EvoScan v2.9.0092 is now out to fix this.. press Check for Updates inside EvoScan under help.. this will correct the Load and RPM Axis showing correctly in the MapTracer.. Any problems, let me know.

Cheers,
Hamish.

the actual fix was simple.. remove all the duplicate copies of rommetadata xml folders. install the latest clean verison of ecuflash with default XMLs

your ROM is 20030013 JDM Galant VR4.xml and it already comes default as part of the latest ecuflash.

I copied your kenneth mods xml into that file, and named it 20030013 JDM Galant VR4 Kenneth mods.xml

now you are all good to go! it works on both Ecuflash and Evoscan no problems at all.

Cheers,
Hamish.
Ha ha, thanks again Hamish you da man

Hey all, got my very first tactrix cable, ecuflash software and evoscan software. All up to date. But I can't seem to bring up the map / image that is currently on my ecu.

I've an 05 ausdm evo ix that was tuned by someone else, what I want to do is read the current tune and edit it to suit my new perrin intake. I've been doing a bit of reading about MAF scaling etc which seems to be pretty straight forward. Although I'm having trouble reading the current rom that is on the ECU.

When I read the ecu, it saves a .srf file. And it doesn't show any of the data (fuel, air, timing etc). I've tried changing the format to .bin and .hex but they all don't show any data on ecuflash.

How do I go about reading the ecu properly so I can edit the rom?

Thanks

Can anyone help with a workable logcfg file for an JDM EVO7.
I cannot get my Tactrix OpenPort 2 to log directly to the sd card. All works great with Evoscan to a laptop.

Problem solved and it's working great. I named the logcfg file logcfg.txt.txt

ecmlink cable

Does anyone know if you can use an ecmlink cable with evoscan and ecu flash or do I have to buy an open port cable?

The OpenPort cable is the only thing I know that can work with ecuflash.

are you referring to this one? Map Switching Input, B2, x bit 5 ?

take a screenshot or reading of the "Port C" B2 to see what the raw data is from PortC

Not sure what is Port C and how to see this data?
Do you mean data during logging in 3rd column "Reading"?

Thanks!
