Now which one of these programs (ECUFlash or EVOScan) would I use to lower the idle?

speaking of idle ... I have a question about the ISCV tables. For the "AC off" there are two tables (neutral and drive). How does the ECU switch from one to the other - is it based on the clutch switch (clutch in = neutral, clutch out = drive) or the speed sensor (speed zero = neutral, speed > zero = drive) or some combination of both?

I have a incredibly noobish question about EvoScan. Let me lay it all out for you guys. I have the newest version of EvoScan with a Tactrix 2.0 cable. When I open up the program after the cable and everything is connected and I tell evoscan I'm using the 2.0 cable, what sub category should I choose before I pick the Ecu I'm trying to log.

When I select 2.0 cable, Mitsubishi/MUTIII it doesn't allow me to log RPM. Which is kind of a huge pain. Any input on this is appreciated beyond belief. I can build a motor but I can't seem to get the hang of this tuning thing yet. Granted I just started tinkering with it less than a week ago, lol, but that's what I have you guys here for right?

Just want to make sure this is the correct information you need to add to your rom in order to allow you to disable the p0300 code. Am I correct?

I Just got my Evo 9 tuned and I was dissapointed in the numbers. dyno dynamics dynamometer. 22psi, whp was 281.6 and torque 298. seems a little low. I have a injen intake, nisei fmic. uicp and lower incp, perrin high flow cat. perrin downpipe. hks ti carbon exhaust. Hallman mbc, and deatschwerks 750cc injectors, walboro 255lph. when they were done tuning I started my car to leave and it was knocking. found out they injectors they just installed 2 of them were loose. could this have effected the tuning thus less horsepower? my cousin has the same exact set up minus the injectors, tuned at the same place and has 337 whp and 365 torque. any suggestiions? boost leak?

I have problems with evoscan too.
Before I install the new ECUFLASH 1.43.3000 (beta) inklusive Firmware Update of my OpenPort2.0 it works. After I install it, the evoscan 2.7 beta didn't find the OpenPort2.0 cable via USB.
Other programs works. For example PCMSCAN and ECUFLASH itself.

Tried to search for this problem..

I finally got Evoscan to sync up (turned out I needed to change the BAUD rate). Thanks, Tkklemann.

Problem:

I do a data log, pull it up on maptracer, load my hex and it seems like there is a gap in datapoints from like 4500-7000 rpms. It's just blank..nothing. Anything below 4500rpm and after 7K rpms shows up fine and dandy.

I tried:
- Reduce the amount of parameters to log
- Set my laptop (lennovo) power settings on max performance
- Did one pull very slowly from 3-7.5K rpms.

Still have a gap in data from like 4500-7000rpm.

Anyone else have this problem?

I need help with connecting my LC1 to EvoScan. I've searched around but my problem is a bit different. I'm running windows 7 64 bit on my laptop. I found the correct driver for my Dynex serial to USB adapter. When I open EvoScan and select the correct com port, I still get nothing. When I select LC1 wideband 02 e8 Mod I can't get a reading. What am I doing wrong?

I had a similar problem with my LC-1 earlier this week, but with vista 64 and a radioshack cable. What I had to do was use logworks 3, hit connect with the vehicle running, once i did this once, it set up the lc-1 and it logs in evoscan. Give that a try.

Hello Sir,

I am a tuner in saudi arabia, and usually deal with standalone computers, but i have been approached by several people that want to tune their stock ecu's

I got the OP 2.0

i have both softwares 1.42 ecuflash and 1.34

i downloaded aktive matrix ecu unlock.

first i used the cable and i pulled the file fine.

but i open it and i cant edit anything.

all i can edit is the immobilizer (6E2F) and init code (0001)

thats about it

Rom info:
make: mistu
submodel: evo 7
market:jdm
year:2001
internal ID: 99860002

any help would be appreciate

thank you
