Could be a bad cable. Find someone who has a working software stack and try your cable with their setup. If you get the same message it's probably a bad cable. Alternatively borrow a known good cable to check your software set up.

Hey guys. I'm still unable to successfully log fuel trims on evoscan 2.9 while using the speed density 94172715 ROM. I've tried switching cables from tactrix 2.0 to tactrix 1.3, and resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery. A few months ago it was static at 0 for all trims, now its static -10 for low, -12 for mid, 0 for high and every once in a while it shows -12 in the "in use" column. I've already thrown a P0171 code which shows the fuel trim too rich, and the wideband readings are varying from 11.5 - 12.3 at 290KPA_Load 3750 RPM, so I'm a little stuck here. Any help would be amazing right now.

Has anyone tried to flash a stock JDM Rom File on their USDM EVO 8? I found an 04 FQ300 rom file and was thinking about using it on my 05 USDM... any thoughts?

I just finished getting my turd bolted together after it sitting for a few years. I have gotten my colt to start on the evo8 blackbox using evoscan/ecuflash but i am running into issues with evoscan so i am hoping someone here can help me figure this out. When i open evoscan and push start logging it says to select an ecu from the pull down list when thats where the issue is i have nothing but evox selections this is the list i see :

So my question is how do i get more selections or which one do i use with the 04 evo8 ecu?
I need to figure this out asap because when select start logging it connects but shows no values the only ecu selection that i have tried is mode 23 usa evox. If it is easier for someone to text me hit me up that way 8014149255

Do you have a 1.3 or 2.0 cable? Choose the correct one. Then in the middle select EFI.

I have no efi option thats what i mean its like i am missing ecu selections i am using the op 2.0 cable. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times i have tried installing older versions still no dice. I am using 2.9 also if that helps

Accidentally hit write to ecu before saving immobilizer info.
Was wondering if anyone would be able to assist in a map with it disabled. Would be much appreciated. It is for a 2005 evo mr. Also if possible with tephra mod map switching.

Wow i am officially the village idiot! Solved that problem ill check tomorrow to see if when i log values show up! thanks for the help guys sorry i am a newb at tuning and so far openecu has been kinda a pain in the *** but ill post tomorrow after i try to log. thanks again

Hey Guys,
im new to the tuning world. im not going to attempt to even do it myself. I have a buddy that is in the know with the evos, he said without a dino that he would not want to tune my evo. Unless I could find a email tune. I found the shop that sells them, but for that price I could have it done on the dino at the shop. is there anywhere I could find these? I have a 05 evo 8 standard edition.

Hello. I've searched all over this forum and can't find info if EcuFlash or MMC with Tactrix cable reads/writes the EU Mitsu Colt CZT? The evoscan.com site says that it should work but did't find anything to confirm this. Guys help me with info coz i'm in desperate needs

as far as the mods i only have a intake and a catback. im looking for somthing mild as i do drive it daily. i would be willing to go more aggressive but i worrie about life of the car and would it be as reliable?
