Anyone have 880cc latecy and scaling tables?

I just installed PTE 880's and I need to scale the injectors by cruising and getting the STFT's close to "0", I know that....but does anyone have an injector latecy table to get me close so my idle cleans up a little? I would appreciate if someone with 880's would post their latecy table....PLEASE!

Thanks
Anthony

Its probably going to be something that requires trial and error..

You need to log your long term fuel trims (Fueltrim_low and Fueltrim_mid) for a period of time as depending on which of the two is "off" will affect if the scale or latency needs adjustment and how much..

The short term fuel trims are immediate adjustments, which are transferred to the long term trim over a period of time.

If its close to zero, and the long low term trim is -5% in mitsulogger (or about 90 in Evoscan) then you can raise the injector scaling slightly.. You can do this until you get a good trim (FWIW if you have -5% is actually very good and doesn't really require adjustment) the MID fuel trim is where you would look to alter the voltage latency, as it seems to have a bigger affect at higher rpm than at idle.

It becomes a balance where you get both in pretty close, then your okay..

Now.. If your idle is still poor, then you may have to raise your idle speed a bit (not sure if you had raised it over stock) but cammed and/or aftermarket injector cars tend to idle better around 1000rpm.. There's two reasons, higher engine speed stabilizes airflow through the MAF, this happens often with cams, and larger injectors have trouble with very low duty cycles, which means as it adjusts the idle quality will shift as the trim shifts a little.. Raising the idle speed a little will increase the IPW a little and it should help.

To give you specific answers, you can look for the AEM Injector size and latency spreadsheet that someone posted here in the ECUFlash forum, where he converted the AEM values to ECUFlash latency values, but I found it was only good for a starting point.

And your latency values will depend heavily on your scaling value.. so everyone may have something different for the same injectors (even for people with the same PTE 880's)

read this thread, especially post #51. Start with a scaling factor of about 90% of your injector, and latencies are listed in post #51 of the thread below. It will get you started, but like Jack said, you'll want to fine tune both the scaling and latency based on your own car.

These settings got me 11.1-11 AFRs on my configuration....PM me for details...

yours are just slightly different than mine.

i was running 750 scaling (for 850's) and latency values VERY close to yours
