Zeitronix 3.5Bar settings:
Map test 1: Mid VE max voltage = 4.90
Map test 1: Mid VE min voltage = 0.10
Map test 2: Low VE Max Voltage = 4.90
Map test 3: High VE Min Voltage = 0.51
Map test 4: Max minus Min = 0.51
MAP Scaling for Baro = 175
EGR Pressure Diff = 0.03
EGR Map check 1 & 2:
RPM | Value
750 - 84
1000 - 84
1250 - 73
1500 - 65
1750 - 60
2000 - 55
2500 - 48
3000 - 43
3500 - 23
these are the settings i am using for the zeitrnoix that i found in this thread. but on the map scaling table i am using the jdm numbers
0.51 20
0.90 40
1.29 57
1.68 78
2.07 97
2.46 117
2.85 138
3.24 158
3.63 255
i am not sure if this is correctly setup because in evoscan i am using the jdm formula and am off by 5psi between my zeitrnix lcd and my log

can someone help thanks!

Boost log issue

Hey guys,

Not sure if I should have created a new thread rather than replying to this but I'm having a problem getting full boost log. I purchased a JDM 3BAR map sensor off eBay. Installed the sensor and performed the above changes to my ECU and flashed (ECU 88590015)

Made the modification in EvoScan for 0.19347*x-14.3 (I am at 800ft)

However on multiple runs and logs the most I have ever logged was 13.9psi, which seems to me like its only reading as a 1 BAR map sensor....

However if that was the case wouldn't I have problems with my car even running or CEL with the changes I made to the ECU?

I have triple checked all the changes from this post and that I entered the correct values. I have a ProSport boost guage, doing a pull in 5th gear the gauge displayed 18-20psi but EvoScan only recorded 13.x psi

Any suggestions? Did I get sold a bogus 1 BAR map?

Well...it would be a 2 bar sensor if anything, because it measures from -14.7 up to 0 (1bar) then from 0 up to 14 or whatever (2nd bar). Still...that doesn't really make a lot of sense, what's your boost gauge read compared to the MAP sensor at idle?

Both show vaccum, around -9 or -10 (going by memory I will confirm tomorrow when I'm in the car)

So, basically, put whatever MAP sensor in that you want with the 9653 ROM, and the only specifics you need are what you'll put in to EvoScan to scale the data properly.

I'm still a little lost with your explanation. Can you please clarify, what needs to be done to get this to work with.

I'm using
TephraMOD-96530706-v7.xml

I see a scaling in definition.

<scaling name="PSIa8 JDM3barMAP" units="PSIa" toexpr="x/(5.18*2)" frexpr="x*(2*5.18)" format="%.1f" min="0" max="24.6" inc="0.1" storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>

do I need to edit 96530706.xml and create tables from op?

thanks

No, the 9653 rom came from a car that didn't have a MAP sensor, so you can plug one in, and the ROM has no notice of anything that MAP is doing. It doesn't factor it into any of the routines that the engine uses, it just is there. EvoScan can log what it does, but as far as getting the car to run with it, it just does, true plug and play. 94170015 like I use, you have to set some values to make the car run with it, but not 9653

So to log Boost @ sea level, the correct eval formula would be:
0.19347*x-14.7

still cannot read JDM Map log correctly. logs values go to 33.08709 as soon as boost builds.
AEM boost gauge shows max boost of 26.

I have an issue setting the some voltage in the tenth value. This is the closest Im allowed to choose. When trying to manually set the value; it defaults to the closest lower value;

0.51 20
0.90 40
1.29 57
1.68(1.67) 78
2.07(2.07) 97
2.46(2.45) 117
2.85(2.84) 138
3.24 158
3.63 255

How safe would it be to set it to the higher value:

0.51 20
0.90 40
1.29 57
1.68(1.69) 78
2.07(2.08) 97
2.46(2.47) 117
2.85(2.86) 138
3.24 158
3.63 255

I also have an issue seeting the MAP Comparison table. It only takes 14.5 or 14.7

Or is there a way to tweak it to the correct exact value: PLEASE HELP!
Im having the same exact issue has anyone figured this out??

I've tried editing the increment edit value in ecuflash and still nothing.

I did the same just put the number in and kept what it gave me.

Is the Omni 4 bar settings the same as the Onmi 7 bar? I have the 7 bar, I was just wondering.

Also, is it normal for EvoScan to log positive boost at idle? There's 53 pages so reading will be time consuming, hopefully a response will be quicker. Thanks.
