RPM Error in EvoScan Log
Hi,
I am still very new to EvoScan and I noticed today that after doing some fifth gear pulls that when I replay my log file or take a look at the graphs for rpm the beginning reading (in this case around 3000rpm) is close, but at the other end when the tach in car reads 7.5k rpm and the log file says I was moving at 95mph the rpm data says I was at 4300rpm.
Is this because the data collection rate for the rpm signal is that slow? This log file recorded almost 30seconds of data, I would expect it to at the least make a few big jumps in rpm in there to keep up.
I did a few pulls in 5th trying to understand what causes the throttle hang before i try and fix it.
Thanks for the help!

Yeah, after I looked at what I was logging to answer your question I realized I was being excessive.
It reads accurately at idle and when I start the logger the rpm the engine is spinning is accurate.
I have also noticed that I have been unsuccessful in fully logging a 3rd gear 2.5k to redline sprint. The logger seems to cut out very shortly after starting the logging. I need to try this again though to confirm.

Ha, so I was getting confused about which log file I was looking at. Is there a way to change the default naming?
Also, can I turn the baudrate up on this B?

Hey, bumping this thread since my problem is rpm related and people seem to hate when you start new threads.
I just got my stock turbo back on and now when I goto log with EvoScan it won't read rpm at all. I have it ticked, and when I look at my log it's ticket there too but displays nothing.
Any help?
