If "Accel Enrichment" isnt accel enrichment, how do you fix this?
I get a pretty steep dip in AFR when I mash the gas. I originally thought that the accel enrichment table was where to fix it. But after reading some of the recent finds, it appears that this table is something else.
Do most of you get a rich dip when you mash it? Mine drops into the mid/low 10s, then comes back up to high 11s. Do I just need to compensate in the fuel map? Any negative affects with normal driveability with doing this? BTW I have lean spool disabled.
TIA
Charlie

This is the thread I was reading. It appears that Bez may have created the correct table. But I am reluctant in trying it without some more info.

Last night I pulled what I think is a stock rom and started modifying my transition areas to more like stock and it is much better. I think I had some cells left over from from an email "tune" I had a while back. It is much better now. I also changed the accel enrichment table back to stock.

I witnessed in the past that decreasing the value quickens fuel response to WOT, and increasing delays it. The afr waveforms were the same shapes, just offset initially for about a second then they became in phase with time too.
Never attempted the headache of comparing results other than at WOT

I still get a rich spot of less than .2 sec. It drops about a full point almost exactly 1 sec after I mash the gas. But it only lasts about .2 sec. It appears as one line in my logs and is always there. It will go 11.8, 11.7, 11.0, 11.7. And there is no big changes like that in my fuel map. It isnt dependent on rpm, much more on time after I stab the throttle. It usually happens between 3800 and 4200 rpm, depending on when I start my pull.

don't know the software but on most AM programmable ECU's and factory setups there are accel sub tables.
