Low load numbers

I have a IX with a BR3065 turbo. I am hitting 280-270 load (2byte) from peak boost to redline. 26psi. Shouldnt this be a higher number? My stock IX turbo was hitting over 300 at 28psi peak and even with the taper to 21psi it was still at 270 load at redline. What would cause this?

Thanks,

SQ

At 25.5psi I am at 270-280 load. (3076R)

But I also have maft pro. And it drops the load about 20-40.

with a stock unmolested mas at 30psi on the HTA 35R I see 335-340kpa, now that I've epoxied the screen around the sides so it isn't sucked into the turbo it's hitting 380kpa and holding it there (that is the max) 93 octane pump gas only

Holy off the chart mellon. I'd love to see your load map. I think that MAF is ready for retirement.

Remember intake pipes and filters can mess with the MAF, thus showing different load.

Damage? Or did it just detach and catch?

Ok, went to the track tonite. Logs showed 300 load at 25psi. Only change I did to the car was reflashed it to change the rev limiter. I am thinking it might have had something to do with my fuel trims being all wacked out, car runs leaner upon reset of trims, hence higher load? Sound plausible? Also the car hit 54lbs/min and 2650hz airflow, most I have seen yet out of this turbo.

Lastly, I noticed my logs have rpm topping out at 7968. I know this is not accurate, as I missed a gear on a run and pegged the rev limit of 8500. Any ideas?

255 * 31.25 = 7968.75 thats why you top out @ 7968

for most its not a problem, but for high revving cars you should log 2byte rpm

Yeah I need to start logging 2byte. I tried it once and the number was all out of whack, I will look into it today. I am also going to pull the mass air out and check the mesh as Mellon suggested.

Thanks all,

SQ
