"Logged Timing" deviating from Timing Map, every log, every time it does, it KNOCKS!!
#91
I originally wanted to go "direct boost control" and was told no prob. but when I went down there, he doesnt do "direct boost control" another issue I had... I will be trying it out and see how that goes for me... I have the .xml set up, etc. Just need to do it! I kinda wanted to have a complete grasp on this method first...
Are you running 11.5 across? I was thinking of shooting for 11.5, but started off at 11.3 to see how knock prone it was @ 11.3. What is your take on leaning out as RPM goes up? I have read people trying this to compensate for taper. (a lil)
Believe it or not, but all I did to my Rom was make all the BDELS/MWGDC's maps the same, turn off leanspool, work out the BDELS to match my logs, since my load was off by atleast 10 points almost everywhere... Added the TBEC, leaned out spool up a bit, but still need to get it to 12.5 @ 3000 instead of 11.9, and leaned it out .2 throughout the map. to 11.3 I left the WGDC/Timing maps the same the same just to see if it would knock... When I go at it again, I will try to bring my timing where it should be...
am I right to think "Timing" should be linear, like this?
example: 3* @ 3000, 4* @ 3500, 5* @ 4000, 6* @ 4500, 7* @ 5000, 8* @ 5500, 9* @ 6000, 10* @ 6500, 11* @ 7000, 12* @ 7500? I think 11* is my magic # @ redline.
