I'll look into it.
I am fully registered and looking forward to getting it worked out. For now serious logging done in good old .99 ver. with jdm map,2byte and lc1 02. I really like the map tracing of the latest version but I only get log data very .3 seconds if lucky and usually every .5 seconds

Thanks Hamish

do you have wireless laptop and msn messenger? add me hamish_ahern@hotmail.com I would like to connect to your pc to see for myself, because EvoScan should be running at least 100+ samples per second. thanks.

Hamish - how about converting a NAVIGON 5100 (Windows CE 5), it's fully hackable.. Has 256Megs onboard too.

SD Card - Checked! (Comes with a 2Gig card which has the WinCE 5 OS, and the Software) - it's easy to add WinCE software to it by just copying it to the SD card.
3.5" Touch Screen - Checked!
Built in GPS w/ Software - Checked! (SirfSTAR III).
USB Port! - Checked. (although a driver might be needed to make it a host based interface).

You should think making your software work with the Navigon devices instead, dealing with hardware will just cause you more pain IMHO..

The Navigon 2100 can be had for around 99$ too (although it only has 64MB), the same 2 GIG SD card though.

nah its too expensive: it says you save $99.99, its actually NAVIGON 8100T GPS NAVIGATOR MSRP $599.99 or GPS NAVIGATOR 2100max MSRP $249.99 yeah my factory can make the quiet cheap in quantities of 1000+

Yep, it took me 300hours to make a usb driver, and another 300 hours to program the EvoScan logging and another 300 hours to program the reflashing software, the time isn't in the hardware. The time is taking all the ideas and code thats in my head into visual studio 2008, I am so productive I even dream about the code some nights, and then program it up the next day. lol

Am I the only one to experience the following problem:

Here is what Evoscan tells me when I try to playback a log file:
"Input string was not in a correct format.Couldn't store <27.843137254902> in TPS Column. Expected type is doubled."

I just don't see what's the problem...

Oh, BTW, TPS value reading goes from somewhat 12% to...100%. And I can only open my log files in graph mode (vs time)...

Someone could help please?

Thx!

Jobi, please log a support call for something like that. i'll take a look at the calculation, it should always round it to 5 decimal places, and have no problem. you using v2.6 beta6 from the first post?

yes 12%-100% is the way mitsubishi engineering designed it.

Currently it does the following:
Evo7/8 Read Rom + Write Rom + Test Write Rom + Compare ROM

I am hoping to do "Edit Rom maps" based on the post above. with some up/down arrows on the touchscreen, it might be for the second release, because the Gauges are more important, i'll see how I get on over the holidays.

Evo9 and subaru reflashing support to follow early next year. Evo10 reflashing will be supported once tactrix gets it working on the openport 2.0 cables.
