Hi,

on evo wiki (http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/Main_Page) are only six different roms.
And lots of information is mission about them.

Because i'm having no evo, i can't even complete the information for my ecu. i don't know what car it is from. i bought it from ebay.

Now i'm asking to send me your stock roms with much information as possible. I will sort it and put it on evowiki.

Only stock files without tuning or mods.

What i need:

- rom id offcause
- car year, market (usdm,edm, jdm,....), model
- ecu case id or your vin will look for the case id (via email, i'll keep it confidential)
- xml file
- additional information like 2 byte stuff

and everything i have forgotten. as much information you like to write is good.

Just type all you know and you are willing to share. Also uncomplete information is better than nothing. Do as you like.


I have lots of infos i need to verify but asking for every detail takes to long, and will make no friends here, by getting 20 emails for each rom (i hope), i will see whats right.

88840013 is early euro IX, ie they are upto 17 now.
94170008 is early US 8
80700010 GTA AU...

88840013/016/017 for the European (EDM) Evo IX GSR.

The EDM IX RS has a "JDM" 3-bar MAP sensor, and a different ROMID, but i forgot it.

EDM IX GSR doesn't have any map/mdp sensor, be it 3 bar or 1 bar.

I had before this version of map.

I just wanna know if this map was deliver only to EURO side of the world or not.
Do you know more abiut this?

I`m not so sure that this map was delivered only to EUR side.

Evan if into ecuflash definitions maybe it was a mistake when they made the program and they add into the xml file of 88840013 ar ROM info, Market : USDM......I just wanna know if realy this was only a EUR map id.

8884 was only EU AFAIK...

Some info for the GTA

It is listed as AUDM but it was never available here. It is JDM only other than a few sent to UK I believe.

The rom on file is also not complete at 256k, it is only half of the rom. The full rom is 512k and a different read template is needed to download all of it.

2-byte Load is 6978-6979
2-byte RPM is 6956-6957

Hi Dave,

Allow me please to ask something about 88840013 Rom id version....

Evan this is an old rom is and not a very used rom ...... I still have some toughts about some options that I had when I was using this rom, option that I don`t find into my present rom 88840017.

First the inherits hierarchy between 88840013 rom is with evo9base not with evo9base_20081101 definition file.....

The following option apeear missing into my present map:

-boost enhacement (anti-lag start rpm witch was set at 2500 units
-min temp for full boost control (was set at 40*C
-boost enhancement (anti-lag) stop rpm (eas set at 4531 units)
-some options of setup the IC Relay Spray times corelated with lo and high temp and with vehicle speed
-air temperature compensation was set in *C
-min temp for closed loop (option that I definetly need to find and add for my present map since I still have this P0125 cell on)

Can you help me with some full or more updated definition files for 88840013 and 88840017 ROM`s.....other than Ecuflash 1.41 version???

I still must check about the differences between USDM cars and EDM cars.

I think AUSM are more ralated with EDM rom id`s and maybe you have more updated definitions for these maps.

Can you help me with a newer data definition file for Evoscan 2.5?

I must add some hex and xml files into evoscan folder in order to have also data for evo9?I see that inside ROMS folder in Evoscan exists a rom 88840013 but from a EVO& EDM from 2002......and the latest rom id is only for evo8......

I apreciate any help from you......
