Help Pls. -- Changing ROM IDs and Migrating to Tephra v6
Tephra and MrFred have been overly kind and patient with me, but I am still just a tad confused on what I should backup and how I flash a new ROM ID. (It seems too basic / easy, so I am afraid I am missing something.)
A few questions:
(1) Should we copy everything in C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata to a safe location (for backup)? (e.g. a new folder and DVD)
(2) Do I just flash the new ROM like any other tune / flash and then add the XML to evoscan v2.5?
(3) Should ECUunlocker work fine as the immobilizer (what is the immobilizer code?)?
(4) If I have a tune that I am pleased with now, is there an easy way to copy over all the tables / definitions?
(5) In v6 is it intuitive how you set the trigger to kill boost if knock is greater than a set threshold (e.g. if knock > 6, wgdc = 0 or fuel cut)?
Thanks in advance!

(1) You can, but it's not necessary. Tephra's ROM definition file is unique, and automatically includes the other XMLs you are already using. This may cause some redundancy (for example, Tephra v6 and v5.10 items showing up in EcuFlash). To avoid this, you can remove the old Tephra code from your current XML.
(2) Yep!
(3) As far as I know, yes. I don't see why not.
(4) Not really. It would be nice for EcuFlash to include a easy way to diff two ROM's... a BeyondCompare-style comparison would be nice. But right now, you've gotta do it all manually.
(5) It uses the High Knock threshold that you set (as in, fast CEL flash), and WGDC goes to 0%.
