NJ - it depends on your ROMID.
1) If you have a car that has a MAP sensor (1bar??) as standard - then it is probably used for EVAP - in which case you will need to fiddle with the ECU scalings for the GM OR JDM 3bar OR OMNI 4bar MAP sensors to work.
2) If your car doesn't come standard with a MAP sensor, then just plug it in and get the scaling in EvoScan right and your sweet!!!

Evoscan 2.5 does not log the GM 3 Bar AFAIK. It seems that the 2.6 does that, but how is the signal taken from the GM 3 port and fed into Evoscan? Is Hamish using the LMA-1/LMA-2? That is what I am asking.
The reason for my question is that Mitsu has capped the boost signal from the Evo X's map sensor at ~22.2 psi. So we need to either uncap that signal by changing the rom or log boost from outside the OBDII port. I am thinking that Hamish is doing that, but I want to know what hardware is he using.

If the GM 3 Bar is connected to the ECU, then how is that done. I have not read about it. Perhaps I missed the thread.

yes the X is limited to 22.2psi. But there is a way around that. I have the info to add to the xml but unsure how to do it

Just a few questions... I do have the tatrix cable, and when I start using EvoScan to tune my EVO X, will I need a boost guage to read higher than 22.5 PSI? Also I have read in a different thread that the EVO X has a wideband O2 sensor. Is this true? If not true, what wideband O2 sensors will work with EvoScan? Last when do you think EvoScan will be released? Thanks for the hard work getting this logger out to the public!
