strange, i'm unable to find it in JDM ASA program.

it seems to be of use only on general export/south america/european vehicles.

also, can anyone please confirm that it is connected to pin #96?

Its the same pin thats used for fuel tank temp on usdm evos and manifold air temp on JDM Evo 9s.

thing is, we're about to ditch this tranny temp monitoring on EDM car in favor of IAT sensor and speed density conversion. well, seems that we'll have to do it, at least temporary.

btw, for the sake of argument, hardly anyone here saw their transmission temp light on.

maybe it's only me, but i can't find the subroutine in 8858xxxx rom, as well as sensor temperature scaling tables, which are located at b180 and b240 in 88840017.

so that could well mean if you have an EDM car and go to tephra v7, which is essentially 8858xxxx rom, you're abandoning this monitoring feature.

correct me if i'm wrong, please.
