Newb to latencies and trims, having problems, NEED HELP

I just upgraded to a green and plan on tuning a 93 map as well as an E85 map care of the map switching. I just installed some FIC 1000s and am having some issues. I used the latencies listed in the latency thread and the car is running. My idle trims on the other hand are not moving from .1008. I also noticed that the idle AFR's have gone down in the 11's-12's. Any help on this would be appreciated. I am getting a little frustrated right now. I have tried adjusting the 14.06v latency around to see if I could get the trims to start moving with no luck. I also seem to keep tripping the p0505 code for malfucntioning idle control. PLEASE HELP!!!!

2 things, the AFR's are wacked up because of the new injectors. The P0505 is due to the idle adjustment being off. (COmmon on a 001 to 0006 switch.) You need to adjust the BISS screw on your throttle body, but you need to use the EvoScan Actuator adjustement mode to do this. Look in the V6 testing thread in the last few pages to see people having the same issue and instruction on the Idle adjustment.

After you get the idle adjusted, you need to verify your injector scaling by using a "close" scaling for your car, probably around 900 or so, not sure. Then use your STFT and Low LTFT to get that under 5%. You can also verify your Front O2 sensor is working in Evoscan by looking at the voltage for O2 number 1.

That should get your AFR's close. Then you can adust your latencies to correct your Mid and high LTFT.

Once warmed up, the three LTFTs are not moving from .1008 , and the STFT is pegged at 5.1994. The O2 sensor voltage is bouncing around a little especially once the fan kicks on. At standard idle I am seeing about .04 and up to .35 once the fan kicks on.

Well i got it to work once. I adjusted the idle as said above, and I ended up seeing a LTFT low of 12.65. I figured I would try to adjust my scaling of 860 to try to get it within 10% and i never saw it work again. I even went back to the setting that worked and that wasnt working anymore. By watching the STFT is that kinda a prelude as to what the LTFT low is going to adjust to? It doesnt seem to like to give me these numbers at all at an RPM below 900.

Also....my airflow Hz is 37-35 which should not cause any issues, I am not running the simulated Rear O2 code (I have it set at 0 in TephraMod), and I get no movement with Evoscan or Mitsulogger.

Only thing I see different on your ROM and mine is I have FAA periphery bit set to "1". I think your LTFT will activate as you drive more.

Be sure to reset the ECU via unplugging the battery for a couple minutes.

^ this as I see you have an VIII... everytime you change an injector setting you must reset your battery for the trims to reset... its not like a IX where the trims reset when you flash

Thanks a lot for the help guys!! I have since got some logging now. I have the Low Trim showing -1.2 but the mid is showing -12.6. STFT are right within +/- 5%. These are my current scaling and latencies.

860

4.6875 3.312
7.03125 1.680
9.375 1.344
11.7188 1.152
14.0625 0.840
16.4062 0.360
18.6768 0.240

860 scaling is what everyone seems to be using for these injectors. Any ideas on what to adjust to get the mid back in line??
Thanks again
