Innovative LM2 EVOSCAN support?
I need to buy another sniffer and I was pondering the idea of of getting a new LM2.
I know it is not in the drop down for evoscan but I was wondering if this may possibly work with the direct usb connection to PC in the same manner as the LM1 or LC1 with dongle..
If anyone has tried please share your findings.. TIA

I have an LM2 and I am currently connecting it directly into the ECU using the output like people do with the LC1's. The USB isn't supported in evoscan, I have seen some people make their own serial connections on the innovate forums but there is not a lot of info on it.

You need this http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=272&page=1 and this http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=269&page=1
splice them together, plug into serial-usb connector and log under lc-1 in evoscan.I talked to innovate and its the only way to read the lm-2 via usb.

How accurate are the reading by using this method?
I can do this but I am not sure that what I log is right or not.
So LM-2 connected to PC and Evoscan will give me the correct AFR by using LC-1 as a path?
Since the log reference is "X" in Evoscan how can we have the correct AFR time point with ECU rpm? Since LM-2 is connected to Evoscan only to send AFR signal.....how we synchronize the AFR with the RPM of the ECU?

Not really any need to log it any differently because the lm-1,lc-1,and the lm-2 via mts all read identical.
There always is a slight delay in afr reading to rpm but I think it just depends where your wideband is picking up the exhaust gas e.g. more lag for exhaust gas to actually go 20ft back to the wideband.
