EvoScan v2.6 B16 Logging Problems with Zeitronix ZT2

Hello all,
I just installed my wideband today and when I try to log with EvoScan the readings are all over the place, jumping up and down all the time. If I disconnect and unplug the USB to Serial adapter for the Zeitronix unit everything reads fine within EvoScan. The Zeitronix software works fine and if I use Mitsulogger 2.0 beta I can log everything fine. Just appears to be a problem with EvoScan. Any ideas?
Dan

*Update*

It was my USB-Serial Hardware, went with Belkin from Staples and have had no issues.

Sounds like a driver issue with the serial adapter. Is the COM port set properly in EvoScan???

Yes, I selected Com port 6, Zeitronix ZT2 and selected External Wideband A/F Ratio in the items to data log area.

I have the same problem with mine sometimes, i reboot my laptop and it works. To avoid this bug i plug the usb cable when the system is started, . I think i have a conflict between my touch pad driver and usb to serial adapter driver.

The zeitronix software works fine for me and logs AFR but EvoScan 2.6 isn't logging AFR for me. I set it to com port 1 which is the same port the zeitronix software uses but its not logging. My laptop has a serial port so I'm using that. Do I have to get a serial to USB adapter for evoscan to log properly?

Did you check the necessary 'External Wideband A/F Ratio' field (from the 'Items to Data Log' pane on the left hand side) as well as all the desired/relevant 'ZTX xxx' fields (in addition to selecting 'Zeitronix ZT2' from the 'Wideband (WDB)' drop-down menu)?

I had it checked in the 'Realtime logging data graph' window but not in the main window... So yay it works. Boo for being a retard.

Done everything mention ^^^^ and still not working. It's weird because it works in the zeitronix software.

Same issue here with my Zeitronix wideband.

Zeitronix software works, Evoscan shows 0 for the value. Evoscan worked the first time, but threw a fit ever since. Rebooted, removed driver, reinstalled driver, etc. Randomly it works but refuses to work after I stop logging during that session.

I'm going to try a different Serial->USB adapter. Currently using a TrendNet adapter found at microcenter for $15.

I'll try to follow the post by Rawkus and grab a Belkin from Staples after seeing that it fixed his issue. I'd prefer not to wire into the ECU but it if keeps refusing to log then I might have to.

I'm bumping this 2 year old thread because I need the formula for the ZT2 in EVOscan. I found one on here and it doesn't work. AFR on EVOscan doesn't match my LCD display. Does anyone have the correct formula/scaling for the ZT2 in EVOscan?
