Could this type of fix work for CELs that aren't along the same lines? I mean, are there timers involved with O2 sensor CELs like P0140?

My tuner dropped this into my tune today, seems to have gotten rid of my small problem with full throttle 4th and 5th gear torque limit probs.

Thanks Tephra!

So, when is it not safe to turn these off. I get P1238 all the time with Garrett turbo and so far we were unsuccessful with trying to tune it out. My car goes into limp mode and then idles like on 3 cylinders. It takes 5-6 restarts to have it back on in normal mode, until the next time this CEL goes on.

Ok I played all day Friday moving tables around logging data identifying which tables are active and which are not. How to instantly set a 1238 and throw the car into limp mode. SO the good news is i put in a tune that would instantly set the 1238 and limp without even getting out of 1st gear well I have been pushing our shop car now for a couple hours and no limp at all no code either. Looks like we have a fix. I am just going to need to try a nice long straight away and see what happens. The only thing that gives any issue at all is launch control. The car will sit in launch control nicely for about 2 secs and then flare up to redline and slowly come down. Not the best thing you want happenning.

Exact same issue I am left with here, even without the disbale mod I got my tables to behave perfectly... but launch control triggers a torque limiter limp mode after about 2 seconds of WOT. I did notice a table called "Stationary Rev Limit Cross Under Max Speed Enable Delay" which has 2100ms (2.1 sec) as the default value. Might not be related but the time period sure seems ironic, what does that stat do?

I used to be able to ride the stutter for several seconds without any issue when temps were in the 60's at the drag strip, but in the 90's at the shootout I ran 4 passes and on the 5th it triggered the limp mode for the airflow tables, likely claiming not enough flow for the Throttle position. It was odd that as soon as I lowered my torque limits tables a little lower to similar levels of the airflow limits it switched over to throwing the torque limits limp mode now.

From what I read, LIGHTSPD has the disable set since he intentionally set some table values low so that he could activate limp mode on demand.

I on the other hand have been stubborn since I was tracking down so many other things.

P1235 is no longer popping up for me. I will have to play with stuff to test the others. I will try and get you data soon, sorry, I have been busy.

no dramas...

it looks like you need todo the P1233/1234 along with P1235 otherwise you will get them as well (if you dont mod your airflow maps)
