It's not working. Tephra wrote on the first post that it's not working for USDM ROMS

Did you try it? I've used it a handful of times and it worked every time.

Yes, I've tried it, but without success.

You may try to set the P0139 disable code. This thing also seems to deactivate P0420 on EDM 2011.

Doing P0139, P0140 and Enable Rear O2 Sensor together did the trick. Haven't had the CEL thrown all week.

Here's an odd question I'm not sure if anyone has asked before. It looks like the way this disable works is by setting the time before triggering the CEL to the max possible (0xFFFF -> 65535 ms).

Instead of completely disabling the CEL, can I adjust the time to double the stock time to trigger? For example, P1238 is set to 900 ms (0x0384). Can I just change the value to 1800 ms (0x0708)? Would this work?

Has anyone tried this? It shouldn't cause any weird issues should it?

It looks like you may have to do the same thing the 2008's had to do.

In addition to the p0139, the bit, you also will probably have to do this:

Code:
<table name="DTC P0140 Disable 1500 -> 8000 0xygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)" address="539ce" category="Misc" type="1D" scaling="RPMStatLimit"/>
I believe Golden has this is defined on Goldens site, so if you use his xml, just update it. Donating while you're there isn't a bad idea either.

Anyone know how to turn off P0140 on a USDM 2012 Evo X. It is not defined in Golden's ROMs. It is only defined up to 2010 Evos. I tried copying the xml code from a 2010 to a 2012 but the before numbers did not match what I was supposed to get. There must be a different address for the p0140 code on the 2012 Evos. Anyone know it?

TIA
