Interesting, in my XML I have two definitions for that. So can anyone with some knowledge on this can speak up please?
Here are the two tables:
So which is correct? Obviously whichever is correct needs to be moved the Main Map Fuel Settings. But once I get a confirmation on the correct definition I will move it and eliminate/rename the other.
Here are the two tables:
Code:
<table name="IPW comp starting" category="Global Fuel Settings - Startup" address="3822" type="2D" level="1" scaling="McSec"> <table name="Water temp" address="69be" type="Y Axis" elements="8" scaling="Temp"/> </table>
Code:
<table name="Cranking Primer Initial Pulse" category="Main Map Fuel Settings" address="58d0" type="2D" level="2" scaling="TimeInjCranking"> <table name="Coolant Temperature" address="69d8" type="Y Axis" elements="9" scaling="Temp"/> </table>

According to appauldd here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7981049-post4.html
The cranking primer initial pulse is the correct definition. Can anyone speak as to why the two maps?
If it is I will rename it and place it in the Main Map Fuel section where it should be.

I went through your XML and there are some errors. Please see the updated Wiki to get the most up to date xml for 94170715.

I made the user level higher for some tables....these tables have errors that need to be corrected. The rest of the tables are all good to go as far as I know.

not only are there errors, but definitions have been moved around which has made it very hard to correct.
Has anyone thought of using subversion or CVS to keep track of these revisions? That would be so much easier than having multiple copies of these XML definitions flying around the internet...
These problems have been holding up my transition to V7

Anyone having starting issues with 94171715 Mods+SD+JDM MAP? I tried disabling the immobilizer but, still no results. The immobilizer hex and immobilizer are showing correct values for the ECU. I switched from 96531706 (Mods+SD)because I can not get the PSi based boost control working so I thought I'd try the new 94171715 ROM.

I have been hitting these problems as well...

hi guys, trying to keep current, I downloaded the files.
for some reason I am seeing 7.4 as the lowest possible / not possible to lower it to zero, in my "Boost desired engine PSI". The previous inputs also jumped by a factor of about 14. Where the top input had been something like 24, I now have 37.x. Has the "Boost adder" been incorporated?
this happens in both 2003 xlms

Phenem, I'm sorry, i didnt mean to say ROM, i meant to say xml.. force of habit i guess. So, the question still remains, what should i do if the xml you posted is incorrect? should i retro back to the one i was using of fix this one? Seems like the new one you posted has more definitions in it than the one i originally was using from tephra's v7 xml for 96930706.

Im having some starting issues with Phenem's 96530706 ROM on my JDM 8 GSR.
I have copied the fuel tables, ignitiion tables, injector information and immobiliser information and the car just wont fire. What am I missing? What ROM should I be useing?
The car is currently running fine on 9055001.
Cheers

phenem,
the psi based boost tables have a problem in the 715 and 706 latest file downloads.
on a pull up of the 715 the empty "boost desired engine psi" has a field of 12 which can't be reduced.
on the 706 file , using the latest download it has a 0= 7.4 in that same table, this has bumped my settings up( this being my previous rom.

I know there is a lot to read so I am going to be nice

Can someone do a writeup to explain how to change scalings in ECUFlash so the data show's up correct for the PSI based and SD based ROM's? I have answered so many questions about my data has changed and it's not showing up correctly I am going to scream!
Basically the ROM hasn't changed it is just how "we" see it so it makes sense to us. Anyone willing to do a writeup on how the scaling stuff works? PLEASE!
