Man I'd feel ashamed to afford an Evolution and only give Tephra $20 for all his hard work to turn our ECUs into a something awesome.

I figure $20 is better than nothing since the 88590715 rom is free. Maybe if I didn't spend all of my money on a car and insurence I could afford more than a $20 donation.

Hey guys, looking for opinions here. New to evo's and ecuflash.

I have 2003 USDM Evo 8 and was wondering which rom is recommended to use: 96530706 or 94170715? I am pretty sure I tried 94170715 last week and had a little drivability issues (stock rom, no additional mods). I thought all the tables were supposed to be matched up to stock, but with the bigger maps, so I was confused on why drivability was not the same. Would I have better luck with 96530706 or should it be the same? I am currently on v5.10 and drivability is pretty much exactly like stock again, but would like to use the latest version if possible. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

did you copy all your maps over to the V7 one? i dont think the V7 roms are very correct and need some massaging to get going properly.

cheers

I didn't copy maps over as I compared the ones that were in the v7 rom to my stock and they seemed to match up (besides being the larger maps. Do you recommend still using the BigMap translator with my stock rom tables and copy/paste to the v7 rom?

TephraMod V7

H. Does this mod includes speed density settings for evo 8? If it does, which rom # is correct for this vehicle.

Check out the alarm function already built in to Evoscan. I use it to make a horn sound on my PC when AFR goes lean over a load of 200.

I about to try my first teprha v7 setup but im confused on one thing. Under "stock replacment maps" i see the stock maps are made into big maps, i thought i read somewhere that those maps do nothing? But i dont see any other fuel map to change.
