gambino, how long can you hold on the limiter? You should be able to work the "tree" with out knock and for the style of lights you run(.400 or .500 pro etc)

bump

Do i need to install some kind of hardware to get these pops and bangs on launch and build boost ? or these launch maps will simply work by just retarding the timing and richening the AFR at relevant areas ? Evo 8 jdm, hks twin power, hks ssqv bov.

Bringing an old thread back to life.... lol sry


I've been playing around a lot on it lately and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it.. but few things I don't understand...


under Limits am I suppose to change anything from there? it was at 59.9 to start off with but when I was using EvoScan doing the live viewing everything across the map was showing 60


now that I've changed it to -15 I'm able to see it drop of -10 where I have it set to -15


I'm getting a lot of banging and building about 11-13psi

I'm interesting of turbo lifespan when using 2-step launch. Because I'm think it's like hit with a hammer to impeller.
Or not?...

Hi all,
I’m starting to play with the launch maps too.

I want to use the launch map with my alt map (meth injection)
Here the silly question
When the launch map disengage and switch to the altmap/base map selected?
To start with it can I copy my altmap high octane/ignition maps or is better start from the basemap values?

I had a look on the forum but I couldn’t find the answer ,will be great if somebody can answer me!

Hey does anybody have solid "base maps" to start with?
I have an evo 8 with stock internals and turbo.
I tried the one in the op. Wasn't s smooth enough. Did some logging and tweaking but could not eliminate ridiculous knock....or too lean AFR when I brought it up to the limiter.
