No, there's not a universal patch. I may be able to patch 8859 V7 for you. I replied to your other thread as well.
Give me a couple days to take a look...maybe over the weekend. I may ask for a tester or two to give it a shot, because there is one area that I am not sure of yet. So, it may take a couple iterations to get right.

evoscan has the live map stuff comming i have no idea what he will implement etc.
my program will stay the way it is and grow... i suppose its about options. like u have evoscan, mitsulogger etc etc. u will have this app, evoscan to choose from whatever u like.
personally i havent used evoscan much (since i went DMA and made this program) except to clear cels etc. this does what i want... evoscan will never do that. as i have control over as i make this program and customise it.
that will be awesome eric... maybe then we can port the dma to the AUS evo9 rom.... and then everyone happy.
btw i got source of ecuflash i will look at it soon too

Wait, seriously? Hamish is actually going to implement DMA logging?
That's a very big deal, and will probably dramatically increase the amount of interest in these patches. I'd been under the impression that he wasn't interested at all; I thought I recalled seeing a post from John saying he'd approached him about it, but it didn't go anywhere (which is why he wrote his logger in the first place).
Finally getting decent logging rates into everyone's hands can only be a good thing, as far as I'm concerned.
(I still think there's a real need for an open source logger, though.)

IIRC, Hamish was writing things for me to try, but it was very slow progress with lots of things that didn't work over many iterations, so I decided that the same person had to be writing the ECU and PC side otherwise the protocols would never get tested.

Just wanted to say great work!! This will save a ton of time for me tuning. Instead of pulling over, turning off the car, flashing, starting car, logging changes, rinse n repeat, etc....
