Before & After evo 8 to evo 9 turbo
I wanted to share some data I took on the weekend.
I recently got my exhaust manifold and turbine back from getting ported and ceramic coated from PPI. With that I went from a stock evo 8 turbo (9.8 turbine) to evo 9 turbo (10.5 turbine ported and coated and ported and coated stock exhaust manifold.
This is data from running the car on virtually the same boost profile as before (just 1 WGDC subtracted from the entire curve). You can see the boost is coming on stronger than before even with the larger turbine, at least that's what I conclude.
WGDC numbers are (WGDC - 60). Load numbers are (1-byte load/10)
To answer the question ahead of time, I didn't run through the entire RPM band because I don't have a walbro installed yet.
This is an unfinished boost tune.
