Tephra V7 & OMNI 4 bar

I am wondering if the 4 bar voltage settings are already incorporated into the v7.
I show the xml/base in the scalings from 3bar -4bar. I see no mention in mrfreds omni 4 bar thread for the universal evo 8 rom to add the xml to.

Thanks

Jeff

You got it, do this for every table where your map sensor is used IE the psi boost control tables.

^ Don't know why they left out that bit of info? Anyways.

Went out and did some logging with the V7 + Omni 4 bar, compared to my zeitronix 3.5, vacuum is about 50% higher with the omni and WOT/100% tps boost is 1psi less vs my zeitronix.

Is the WGDC max 78.431% even if you ask for 100%?

Car drives pretty crappy with the ecu controlled boost. Starting to regret the transition. At WOT car feels like it's holding back or being restricted. My target boost is 28psi with the mbc it felt much faster and smoother.

I attached a 3rd gear log from today...Looking for tips or ideas.
Here is a screen shot of my current settings.

Thanks for any help

Here's what I'm using with an 18psi offset/adder....works very well. I'm also using the Omni 4 bar. This is for 29psi if you couldn't tell by the picture heading...

Just thinking out loud here...

I am curious as to why you would want to tune for the boost to drop off at higher RPM. I realize some taper is inherant but to make the car adjust itself lower as RPM raises seems like you are limiting your top end power.

If the stock ECU is simular in operation to my AVC-R I would make the wastegate duty 100% out to the point of where boost starts to hit. Then limit it back to avoid nasty spikes.

Example in my case.....
FP Green on Revolver cams and supporting mods
Duty is set to 95% up to 3000RPM.
Then I taper it down slowly grom 3000rpm to about 4k.
At this point I set my duty to hold a specific boost out to redline.
I noticed boost taper in the upper RPM so I put in a 2% increase at 6k and 3% at 7k.

From my undderstanding of the stock ECU boost tables, the duty (like my AVCR) is what essentially controlls the boost. The boost table is the targeted boost you want to hit.
Then the adder is used to set a minimum boost threshold.
Finally, once you are getting boost where you want it, the correction is to make adjustments to keep the boost as smooth as possible.

adder is used to offset your desired boost, more of a reference point fot the ecu to compare what you say boost should be and what it actually is. If it's off the correction is made.

I gotta get the curve better, i do see what you're saying paul. the spike can be aggressive with the red so i gotta play with it more
