What map sensor are you using?

Also don't be afraid to make changes to the right side MapVe table. They will both need to be adjusted to get your idle trims in order. I do have the same issue where it goes instantly rich when I let off of the throttle for about 2 seconds then it will go lean.

i plugged the new values and wrote them into the ECU before i went to work this morning.

this was probably the easiest it's been to start the car that cold in a while. idle was a little rough but i didnt have to blip the throttle at all to keep it running (i usually have to blip the throttle a few times to keep it from dying before it would idle on its own on cold starts.)

throttle response was way better than i expected for the few changes i made. i havent messed with async tps table. although the table i have doesnt quite match the table that sheides shows (left side values or name.)

the rich condition after decel doesnt occur anymore either. it just goes right back to 14.7ish.

Currently running 96531706, car runs great. Had a fuel trim issue that i think i have sorted out. My issue now resides in trying to run 96533706 so that i can use live mapping. I have tried to run this ROM a few times and always end up going back to my current ROM.

I copied over all fuel, timing, ISCV, Idle, MAP VE, RPM VE, Accel Enrich, Peripheries, Etc. When i run the 96533706 ROM the car runs super rich. Cruise afr's in the 10's. I can load my 96531706 ROM up and AFR's are where they should be. One thing i noticed when copying my tables was the MAT group all had different values. Mine matched the base SD ROM, but the Livemap ROM had completely different values. I copied mine over and still same issue. Injector scaling and latencies also match my other ROM.

I also noticed MAT in EvoLiveMap showed -38, my scaled MAT in EvoScan showed -37. But MAF Air Temp Scaled showed 44.6 which should be pretty correct. I did reinstall Evoscan so maybe im missing the correct formula there.

Any ideas?

is it preferred to adjust the RPM VE table for idle and cruise and then adjust the fuel map to hit your WOT target AFRs?

or

is it preferred to adjust the RPM VE table for idle, cruise, AND WOT so that it matches your target AFRs before you switched to SD?

Im on speed density, Sorry to hijack thread. Im getting hard starts lets say after driving my car for 15-30min park it, come back in 10 min to start and it cranks over for est. 8sec or less to start... is this normal? Its so annoying when ppl look over and see your car not starting and cranking for awhile...
also im on pump gas with a 35r and 1000cc injectors and hks 280s and a 2.3l built motor thanks. pm me thanks..

Are you running ID1000's? If so I have had the exact same problem. It's something in the injectors causing the issue, friends of mine have switched injectors solving the problem immediately.

Could be some setting in the ECU too, just haven't found it.

Evo9ben- Check your IPW start(may need a bump in latency)
...also injector scaling.you may have them scaled too big.

What version are you using?

When it finally catches, what do your a/f's look like?

That's a known issue with the current SD implementation. It's because your MAT sensor is becoming heat soaked while the car is sitting for that time. So, the ECU is only delivering the amount of fuel that you need for that erroneously high MAT temp.

If it's just your cranking that is affected, you could fix it by adjusting your cranking pulsewidth to add more fuel. Another band-aid fix would be to 'cap' your MAT table to a temp that you never go above. I don't really like that fix though.

does anyone else have the issue where on cold start, right after it fires up, wait about three seconds the RPMs climb to 2000 and then the car just cuts out? it'll do it one time after extremely cold start, crank it again and it just idles normally

Can someone help me ? I have GM iat sensor in the UICP, wired to the fuel temp sensor, the rom is the V7 9653 SD, option 5 .
My problem is with the scaling ! The values in the Evoscan log is too high.. 160 fahrenheit.
The scaling at upper is the right scaling for the GM IAT ?
Where to copy it ? In the SD part the "SD MAT scaling for IAT scaling table " only or to the MAT scaling too ?
What are the X and Y axis scaling ? Volt16 or Volt ADC1023 and TempscaleFuel or Tepmscale ?

In the MAT part I have to copy in only the scaling table or need to insert more datas in the X, Y axis setup, MAT scaling hook, subroutine ?

Thank you ! Gergo

IAT working right The car is on speed density Seems like working right and smooth ! Ofcourse a lot of adjusment need on sd maps. I did some logs on idle, 2000, 3000, 3500 rpm logs. Between the logs the fuel trims cleared.
Woud someone help how to make that excel chart from the logs / how to adjust my sd tables ? here

I know I need to lower ve tables and increase the map..

Here is the actual tables with the logs made :

Logs :

2000rpm, 3000rpm, 3500rpm, idle,

Here is a log with some adjusment in the map table last 2 value, the fuel table is 11 every where over load 100. I have to increase the value in the map table to get the afr in line.. with the base settings it was very lean. Now so close what is in the fuel table.
wot
