All my settings appear to be correct. Wow another problem...
Boost error is working for me. However, I'm still tuning the WGDC curve. So, I haven't gotten to tuning the closed loop control yet.

Care to send me your ROM? robbie (dot[ nelson at gmail (dot) com

sorry about 8425, all the maps are located at 0x3xxxx - so it wont tell you what map your on...

try 0x8426...

does logging gears work? i take it you applied the gear fix?
Sorry forgot to change the scaling for the boost adder. Changed it from 8 to 16 bit and I am sure that will work. Should have searched the thread...

I'll change the addy for the alt maps tomorrow and report back.

Gear is working beautifully.

Logging gears is working perfectly.

I tried logging 0x8426 and I am getting 139 on alt maps and 151 on regular. The value only seems to change when the maps are changed. Does this seem right to you? The only reason I ask is because it used to be 0 and 3 and now its 139 and 151.

yeah 0x8424 (4bytes) is a pointer to the current fuel or timing map (i can't remember which)

so 0x8424 is always 0
0x8425 is 0x3 (because all the maps are at 0x3xxxx
0x8426 is 139 or 151
0x8427 will be different as well...

So using 8426 is the correct way of determining the current map, 139 for alt or 151 for regular?

edit - can you add this to your tephramod_94170715.xml
Code:
<table name="94170715 GEAR Fix1" category="TephraMod-V7" address="3f16e" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
then change 0x6a2c to 0x8a2c

then flash and report back

does this also apply to the 88590015 roms? I have same issue. thanks!

So I hate to bump this thread,

but...

I seem to have problems with the latest patch.

When I converted over to V7 I took my base map from my old tune and moved it over to all the available maps so I could get a base line on the V7 performance before attempting any alternate maps or launch maps. As a result I didn't see this problem right away.

I am bouncing between my main and alternate maps. With V5 I could use my ISC switch to switch between the base and alternate maps, but now the map bounces between different maps before stabalizing

I have attached a log file that demonstrates the problem. For now I am only using one map, basically copying over all my changes to the other maps so I continue evaluating V7.

requestID 00 according to Evoscan. I used what ever the values were set to with the latest V7 94170715 version with the latest gear patch. The patch was configured on a fresh install of EcuFlash to make sure I didn't create any conflicts.

well MUT00+MUT01 is setup for 2byte airflow from memory..

MUT00 is NOT setup for what map is currently active..

which is why your getting funny numbers

you can reconfigure a spare MUT to log 0x8426, and that should only cycle between 2 numbers (or 3 if you have launch maps setup)

I do not know what those MUT address have been programmed for.
I just used what ever definitions provided in the download. I never touched the mut table.

Hello

what coud cause my problem seems like rev limiter @6000rpm ?! But in the limits section the stationary rev limiter and the rev limiter set to 7500rpm ?!

I have omni 4 bar map but If set my Boost desired engine PSI nothing is happend only if I using the Boost desired engine load

In the main map boost control setting the Boost adder ( load and psi ) will add the boost to alt map boost settings to ?

You might check to see that you are not hitting a load that would trigger your fuel cut. Check your settings in the global fuel settings.
